OVERVIEW
α- Keto acid itself does not contain nitrogen. It can be transformed into corresponding amino acids through transamination or amination in blood, which is conducive to the reuse of urea nitrogen, so as to reduce the content of urea nitrogen in blood. USES & EFFECTIVENESS
As a solvent and pesticide intermediate, it is widely used as an activator in the hydrodesulfurization and hydrotreating of naphtha, diesel and atmospheric heavy oil and the pre vulcanization of hydrocracking catalyst in the petroleum refining industry. In terms of pesticides, it is used to produce fenthion.
